First of all let me say this. Eric Roberson is my favorite male artist, Neo Soul artist and overall artist period of all time. Prior to discovering him on Pandora I had never heard of him. WOW! To this day I wonder how I ever slept on this brother. I love the man and his music.

I had the pleasure of seeing him in concert on last Saturday February 25th, 2012. If I were to rate him 1 out of 10 I would rate him an 8 and that’s only because he did not perform my favorite song Still.

There are many artists that I love to listen to. There are many whose music I enjoy, but there are not many that move me the way that Eric moves me. His music touches me down to the core. His lyrics make me cry and smile.

One in particular lyric for instance lightens my heart:
